The CORSAIR iCUE 4000D RGB AIRFLOW is a mid-tower ATX case constructed with a high-airflow steel front panel to facilitate efficient component cooling. It comes equipped with three 120 mm AF120 RGB ELITE fans that direct airflow over internal hardware. An included iCUE Lighting Node CORE allows for synchronized control of the RGB lighting for up to six fans. This setup offers a combination of thermal management and coordinated illumination directly out of the box.

Internally, the chassis provides broad compatibility for motherboards, supporting E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX form factors. For storage solutions, the case includes dedicated mounts for two 2.5-inch SSDs and a drive cage for two 3.5-inch HDDs. The design also accommodates multiple liquid cooling configurations, with space for radiators up to 360 mm in the front, 280 mm on the top, and 120 mm at the rear of the case.

The build process is supported by features such as a tool-free tempered glass side panel and an integrated cable management system with 25 mm of routing space. The case offers clearance for CPU coolers up to 170 mm in height and power supply units up to 220 mm in length. The front I/O panel provides access to a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a combination audio jack for connecting peripherals.
