The J5 Create Video Capture USB Hub (JVA01-N) is an external device that functions as both a video capture unit and a peripheral hub. It has one HDMI input supporting signals up to 3840 x 2160 pixels, suitable for 4K sources such as cameras or game consoles. While the input accepts high-resolution signals, recording and capture are capped at 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device captures video at a maximum refresh rate of 30 Hz using MJPEG compression. As it is a UVC-compliant interface, it works with most modern operating systems without the need for additional drivers.

Beyond its capture functions, the device includes two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports for external hardware. The housing features a headphone output for direct 2.1-channel audio monitoring.
