Noctua NA-STPG1 Thermal Paste Guard and Cleaning Set, Grey

This product is a thermal paste guard designed specifically for AMD AM5 processors. Its primary function is to prevent thermal compound from spreading into the cut-outs located on the CPU’s integrated heat spreader (IHS). Application of this guard during cooler installation ensures that excess paste remains contained on the central die area, thereby simplifying future cleaning operations. This reusable accessory integrates seamlessly with the AM5 socket structure and features a precise fit.

The NA-STPG1 kit is bundled with ten NA-CW1 cleaning wipes. These specialized wipes facilitate the removal of residual thermal paste from the CPU and surrounding components, ensuring surfaces are prepared for new application. Utilizing the guard mitigates maintenance complexity during subsequent hardware swaps or cooling system upgrades. The guard itself is grey and engineered solely for use with the AMD AM5 platform.
