The Aruba Instant On 1930 24G 4SFP PoE Switch is a Layer 2+ managed switch. It features 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports and four 10G SFP slots for fiber uplinks. With a switching capacity of 128 Gbit/s, the hardware handles traffic efficiently. Administrators can use this bandwidth to segment a local network or support high-demand endpoints. An ARM Cortex-A9 processor manages data flow across all active connections.
The 1U rack-mountable chassis fits into standard server cabinets. A 370 W Power over Ethernet (PoE) budget allows users to power IP cameras and wireless access points directly from the copper ports. Configuration options include a local web-based interface and a remote cloud management platform. Access Control Lists (ACL) and VLAN support allow for network segmentation, while hardware power consumption reaches 490 W under full load.
Key Features:- Forwarding performance of 95.23 Mpps supports consistent data flow under high network load.
- System latency is 2.4 µs on Gigabit connections and 1.3 µs on 10G uplinks.
- The MAC address table supports up to 16,000 entries for high-density environments.
- A 1.5 MB packet buffer helps manage traffic spikes.
- Support for spanning tree and link aggregation protocols enables redundant, resilient network topologies.
