The Aruba Instant On 1930 48G Class 4 PoE Smart-Managed Switch (4x SFP/SFP+, 370 W PoE) is a Layer 2+ networking device for medium-sized business environments. It features 48 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports to connect and power endpoint devices across a local area network. The switch provides a total switching capacity of 176 Gbit/s. Four SFP/SFP+ slots support 10G fiber uplinks for connections to core switches or storage servers, with a throughput of 130.95 Mpps.
This 1U rack-mountable managed switch provides Power over Ethernet through copper data cables, with a 370 W power budget to support IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points. Administrators can configure the system using a local web-based interface or a cloud management portal. Network traffic can be segmented and prioritised using built-in support for VLANs, Quality of Service (QoS) protocols, and Access Control Lists (ACLs). At maximum load, the device draws up to 520 W of power and uses an ARM Cortex-A9 processor for routing operations.
