The TP-Link Omada EAP223 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 access point designed for ceiling or wall mounting in business environments. It operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies to support various client devices. The access point provides a maximum combined speed of 1317 Mbit/s, with up to 450 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. Three internal antennas use MU-MIMO and beamforming to maintain reliable connections for multiple simultaneous users. Network administrators can manage the hardware via the Omada SDN platform for centralized configuration.

The device supports Power over Ethernet using both 802.3af and Passive PoE standards. A single Gigabit Ethernet port provides wired connectivity. Security features include captive portal authentication, client isolation, and SSID-to-VLAN mapping for traffic segmentation. Rogue access point detection and 802.1X support help secure the network across the deployment. The white enclosure allows for discreet placement in offices or retail spaces.
