The NH-U9 DX-4677 cooler is engineered specifically for Intel LGA4677 platforms, primarily addressing thermal management needs in server and workstation environments running Intel Xeon processors. This cooler utilizes a compact single-tower heat sink design, optimized to fit within space-restricted enclosures such as standard 4U rackmount systems. The integrated heat sink employs six 6mm copper heat pipes connecting the aluminum fin array to a custom-designed copper base plate, ensuring full contact coverage across the large LGA4677 integrated heat spreader (IHS).

Thermal dissipation is managed by two 92mm NF-A9 PWM fans operating in a sequential push/pull configuration to maintain adequate airflow through the dense fin stack. The fans support Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control, allowing for rotational speeds that range from 400 RPM to a maximum of 2500 RPM. This speed range facilitates an operational noise level spanning 12.6 dB to 30.6 dB, offering flexible acoustic tuning for various system loads. The cooler includes the necessary SecuFirm2 mounting hardware and pre-applied thermal compound for immediate deployment.
