The HPE Aruba Networking CX 6200F 48G Class-4 PoE 4SFP+ 370W Switch is a Layer 3 managed switch designed for enterprise access-layer deployments. It features 48 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports to connect and power network edge devices. The switch offers a total switching capacity of 176 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 130.9 Mpps, ensuring consistent data transfer across all connected nodes during periods of heavy traffic. Four SFP+ slots provide high-speed uplinks to core network infrastructure at 10G.
The 1U chassis is rack-mountable and supports physical stacking of up to eight units to simplify hardware scaling. It provides a 370 W total Power over Ethernet (PoE) budget, allowing administrators to power compatible access points and IP cameras without the need for separate power sources. Traffic management includes built-in support for virtual LANs (VLANs), quality of service (QoS) prioritization, and access control lists (ACLs). The switch uses IP routing and spanning tree protocols to maintain efficient network paths, with local configuration accessible via dedicated RJ-45 or USB Type-C console ports.
