The Cisco Catalyst 1200-16P-2G is a managed Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to provide connectivity and power to endpoint devices. It features 16 Gigabit RJ-45 ports, all of which support PoE+. The switch offers a 120 W Power over Ethernet budget, allowing devices such as IP phones and wireless access points to be powered directly via data cables. The unit has a 36 Gbit/s switching capacity and a forwarding rate of 26.78 Mpps. Two Gigabit SFP slots provide fiber uplinks to core network infrastructure.
