The Lian Li Odyssey X is a full-tower chassis constructed with a sandblasted and anodized aluminum exterior. Its primary characteristic is a modular, transformable design that allows for assembly in three distinct configurations: Performance, Dynamic, and Dynamic-R. Each mode alters the case's internal layout and external orientation to accommodate different airflow priorities and component arrangements. The structure is flanked by two 4mm tempered glass panels that can be adjusted or swapped to match the selected configuration, providing a clear view of the internal hardware.

Internally, the chassis offers extensive compatibility, supporting motherboard form factors from Mini-ITX up to the larger SSI-EEB standard. This makes it suitable for a range of high-performance builds, including dual-system configurations. The case is engineered for substantial cooling capacity, with mounting locations for multiple radiators up to 480mm on the front or bottom panels. The design provides ample space for custom liquid cooling loops, with component clearances accommodating CPU coolers up to 167mm in height and power supplies up to 280mm in length.
