Heat transfer begins at the copper base plate, which is designed for comprehensive surface contact across the large integrated heat spreader of the Threadripper CPU. Thermal energy is efficiently moved through six 8 mm copper heat pipes leading into the substantial aluminum fin array.

A single 140 mm fan handles active dissipation, optimized for high static pressure necessary to push air through the dense fin stack. The fan operates across a 500 RPM to 2000 RPM range, delivering a maximum airflow of 119.1 CFM and 3.54 mmH2O of static pressure. Speed modulation is managed via a 4-pin PWM connector, allowing the system to balance cooling performance and acoustics automatically.
