The HYTE Y60 is a dual-chamber mid-tower chassis constructed with a three-panel, bezel-less tempered glass exterior for a panoramic view of internal components. Its structure is designed specifically for vertical GPU mounting to serve as the system's visual centerpiece, and it includes a PCIe 4.0 riser cable for this purpose. The dual-chamber layout isolates the power supply and storage from the primary hardware, which contributes to a more organized interior and separate thermal zones. This configuration is intended for PC builders who prioritize component visibility and a distinct aesthetic.

Cooling is managed through a bottom-to-top airflow path, supported by two pre-installed 120mm intake fans in the base and one 120mm exhaust fan at the rear. The case accommodates extensive liquid cooling hardware, with space for a top-mounted radiator up to 360mm and a side-mounted radiator up to 280mm. It offers broad compatibility for motherboards from ITX to EATX form factors and provides clearance for CPU coolers up to 160mm in height. Cable management channels and tie-down points are integrated into the secondary chamber to help maintain an unobstructed view.
