It is compliant with the IEEE 802.3-2012 standard, making it compatible with 10GBASE-T applications over short distances. The S/FTP design incorporates individual foil shielding for each twisted pair, surrounded by an overall braid screen. This robust configuration minimizes both near-end crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal integrity when operating near power lines or other high-frequency sources.

The cable utilizes stranded 26/7 AWG copper conductors, optimizing flexibility for patching applications within data centers or wiring closets. A Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket material provides enhanced fire safety by reducing the release of toxic or corrosive gases if exposed to high temperatures. Both male RJ-45 connectors feature integrated shielding and molded boots, which offer strain relief and protection against latch damage during installation and removal.
