Zyxel XGS1210-12 V2 - Managed Multi-Gigabit Switch, Grey

The Zyxel XGS1210-12 V2 is a desktop-format switch for segmenting traffic and increasing throughput in small office networks. It features eight Gigabit RJ-45 ports and two 2.5G Base-T copper connections for high-speed access points or network-attached storage. This non-PoE switch is designed to maintain high data transfer speeds across a local network. It has a total switching capacity of 66 Gbit/s to handle simultaneous traffic across all connections, along with two 10G SFP slots for fiber uplinks to core network infrastructure.

Administrators can configure the unit via a web interface to manage local network settings. This includes VLAN support for client segmentation and Quality of Service (QoS) protocols to prioritise latency-sensitive data. The device has a grey chassis intended for desktop use; it does not support rack mounting and draws a maximum of 15.61 W at full load. Traffic management features include IGMP snooping for multicast streams, link aggregation for redundant links, and loop protection. A standard DHCP client automates IP address assignment to simplify setup.
