The Assassin IV White is a high-performance air cooling system engineered to manage thermal loads up to 250 W TDP. The design incorporates a copper base plate coupled with seven 6 mm heat pipes to efficiently transfer thermal energy away from the processor integrated heat spreader. Heat is then dissipated across nickel-plated aluminum fins within a dual-tower arrangement. This assembly utilizes a staggered fan configuration, featuring one 140 mm fan and one 120 mm fan, operating concurrently to maintain optimal airflow dynamics.
Both fans incorporate Fluid Dynamic Bearings (FDB), promoting operational stability and limiting noise output. Fan speeds are variable, ranging from a minimum of 500 RPM up to a maximum of 1700 RPM, resulting in a maximum measured noise level of 29.3 dB. Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) support allows for precise speed control via the motherboard's 4-pin connector. The cooler stands 164 mm tall and supports a wide range of current processor sockets, including Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5/AM4. Installation requires confirming internal case clearance given the unit's substantial 1575 g total weight.
