The STRONG SW8000P 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Desktop Switch is a Layer 2 network device designed to connect wired clients. It provides eight RJ-45 ports operating at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s for standard local area connections. As a non-PoE model, it serves to expand network capacity for hardware requiring stable, hardwired links. The switch offers a total switching capacity of 16 Gbit/s and a forwarding throughput of 7.44 Mpps for standard network traffic.

This desktop unit features a white exterior and weighs 110 grams, making it suitable for compact workspaces. It is intended for use on flat surfaces or mounted to a wall, as the chassis does not support rack mounting. Power is provided via a direct current (DC) supply. As an unmanaged device, the switch requires no complex setup or web-based configuration. Internally, the MAC address table supports up to 2,000 entries to direct data to the correct local devices.
