The TP-Link EAP783 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point for high-density business environments. It operates across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands using the IEEE 802.11be standard, achieving a maximum combined wireless data rate of 18,656 Mbit/s. The device provides speeds of up to 11,520 Mbit/s on the 6 GHz band, 5,760 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band, and 1,376 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. With 4K-QAM modulation and 320 MHz channel bandwidth, the unit supports up to 760 simultaneous connections. Multi-Link Operation (MLO) enables compatible clients to connect across multiple bands simultaneously to reduce latency, while the internal 12-antenna array provides signal coverage of up to 200 m².

For wired connectivity, the EAP783 features two 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports for multi-gigabit backhaul. The hardware is powered via 802.3bt PoE++ or a 12V DC input, with a typical power consumption of 39 W. The unit is designed for ceiling or wall mounting and includes an integrated reset button and a status indicator light. Security protocols include WPA3-Enterprise and OWE, alongside guest access and tagged VLAN support for traffic segmentation. Management is performed via a web-based interface or centralized SDN controllers. MU-MIMO and beamforming are included to maintain signal quality for multiple users simultaneously.
