The HPE Aruba Networking User Experience Insight G6EC sensor monitors wired and wireless network performance at the edge. It performs up to 20,000 synthetic tests a day to measure the end-user experience across enterprise networks. The sensor monitors environments using the IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) standard in the 6 GHz spectrum. It evaluates multiple network configurations simultaneously, providing an overview of site health. This continuous testing allows IT administrators to detect and troubleshoot performance issues early.
The sensor is suited for distributed campus and branch locations that require 24/7 application monitoring. It integrates into existing networks and uses IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), removing the need for separate power outlets. The wall-mountable chassis is designed to remain unobtrusive in public spaces. In addition to Wi-Fi, the device can validate cellular networks to provide a clearer picture of remote connectivity. Administrators use the resulting metrics to isolate the root cause of network issues before users report downtime.
