The Ergotron NX Monitor Arm is designed to support a single display up to 34 inches. It is constructed from a combination of aluminum and steel, providing a stable platform for monitors weighing between 1 and 8 kg. The unit attaches directly to a work surface using an included desk clamp, which accommodates desk thicknesses up to 50 mm. This mounting system allows for the recovery of desk space that would otherwise be occupied by a conventional monitor stand.

This arm facilitates a variety of screen adjustments for ergonomic positioning. It offers a 30-degree tilt range, 180 degrees of swivel, and full 360-degree rotation to switch between landscape and portrait orientations. The height can be manually adjusted from 199 mm to 447 mm to align with the user's line of sight. To maintain a clean setup, the arm incorporates a cable management system that routes cords along its structure.
