The NH-D15 G2 LBC is a specialized dual-tower CPU air cooler designed for high-performance thermal management. This cooler utilizes a Low Base Convexity (LBC) structure, which is specifically optimized for contact with modern CPUs featuring relatively flat Integrated Heat Spreaders (IHS), enhancing thermal transfer efficiency. Heat dissipation relies on a nickel-plated copper base connected to eight 8 mm copper heat pipes. The unit features dual dense aluminum fin stacks engineered for efficient convective cooling.

Cooling air is supplied by two 140 mm NF-A14x25r G2 fans, which support Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for dynamic speed control. The fans operate across a range of 300 RPM to 1500 RPM, offering a maximum airflow of 155.6 CFM and a static pressure of 2.64 mmH₂O. Noise output peaks at 24.8 dB at full rotational speed, facilitating quiet operation during typical use.
