The HUAWEI eKitEngine S530-24T4XE is a 24-port Gigabit Layer 3 managed switch with four 10GE SFP+ uplinks designed for campus networks. It features 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports and four 10G SFP+ uplink slots for network backbone integration. This non-PoE model provides a switching capacity of 176 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 132 Mpps, allowing for data throughput across all connected access devices.

The 1U metal chassis fits standard 19-inch racks and includes two cooling fans with a noise level of 47 dB. Dual AC power supplies provide physical redundancy, with the unit drawing 26.2 W under typical load. Configuration is managed via web, CLI, or cloud interfaces through the network or a dedicated RJ-45 console port. Layer 3 capabilities allow the switch to process inter-VLAN communication internally rather than via an external router. The unit supports up to 4,094 active VLANs, alongside access control lists and ARP inspection.
