The Huawei S530-24ST4XE managed Layer 3 switch (24xGE SFP, 4x10GE SFP+, 2x12GE stack) is a non-PoE network distribution device for enterprise environments. It features 24 Gigabit SFP slots and eight combo RJ-45 Ethernet ports for fiber and copper connections. Four 10G SFP+ slots are provided for high-speed uplinks to core switches or servers. The switch offers a switching capacity of 176 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 132 Mpps, supporting high-density traffic across an organisation’s local area network.

The 1U metal chassis mounts into a standard 19-inch rack and uses two built-in fans, resulting in an operating noise level of 38.1 dB. Dual AC power supplies provide redundancy, with a typical power consumption of 31.6 W. Administrators can configure the switch via web GUI, CLI, or cloud-based platforms. The device supports segmentation and routing tasks, including up to 4,094 active VLANs, static routing, and dynamic protocols such as OSPF and BGP. Access control lists and DHCP snooping are available for managing security policies across subnets.
