The Philips TAE5008BK/00 is a set of wired in-ear headphones designed for devices with a USB-C port. This direct digital connection eliminates the need for a separate 3.5 mm jack, making it compatible with many contemporary smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Audio is produced by 10 mm dynamic drivers that cover a frequency response range of 20 to 20,000 Hz. The inclusion of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) allows the headphones to handle the digital-to-analog audio conversion internally, ensuring a consistent sound signature from the source.

Functionality is managed through an in-line remote on the 1.2-meter cable, which also houses a built-in microphone for voice calls.
