The TP-Link TL-SG2218 Omada Managed 16-Port Gigabit Smart Switch includes two Gigabit SFP slots and is designed for traffic segmentation and capacity expansion in medium-sized business networks. It provides 16 RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports for standard connectivity, alongside two dedicated Gigabit SFP slots for fiber uplink integration. As a non-PoE model, it is built for routing high-volume data rather than powering peripheral hardware. The switch delivers a total switching capacity of 36 Gbit/s and a 26.8 Mpps forwarding rate to handle heavy internal traffic.

This 1U rack-mountable unit is designed for installation in standard 19-inch server cabinets. The Omada ecosystem supports both local web-based management and centralized cloud control for remote administration. The switch supports up to 4,000 concurrent VLANs and 32 static routing entries for inter-VLAN communication. Network administrators can apply access control lists (ACLs) and Quality of Service (QoS) rules to prioritise data and secure the network. Under typical load, the device consumes a maximum of 12.3 W.
