The HPE Aruba Networking CX 6300L 48-port Smart Rate Layer 2 Managed Switch provides high-speed connectivity for enterprise access. It has 48 RJ-45 ports supporting 100/1000/2.5G/5GBase-T to handle diverse network demands. With a switching capacity of 720 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 535 Mpps, it maintains high throughput for heavy local traffic from high-density endpoints, such as access points and security cameras. Operating at Layer 2, the switch handles local communication and traffic segmentation.

The rack-mountable chassis is stackable, allowing multiple units to be managed as a single logical switch. It provides a 2880 W total Power over Ethernet (PoE) budget, meeting the IEEE 802.3bt standard to support high-draw edge equipment without external power supplies.
