The Ubiquiti UniFi Pro Max 24 PoE (USW-PRO-MAX-24-POE) is a Layer 3 managed switch designed for corporate LANs and network infrastructure. It features 16 Gigabit RJ45 ports and eight 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports. The switch has a total switching capacity of 112 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 83 Mpps to maintain steady data flow under load. Two SFP+ slots provide 10G support for fiber uplinks to core appliances or routers. With a throughput of 56 Mpps, the switch functions as an aggregation point for internal data routing.

The 1U chassis is made of SGCC steel and fits into a standard 19-inch rack. It provides a 400 W total PoE budget, delivering up to 15.4 W per port to connected cameras and wireless access points. Administrators can segment traffic using up to 1000 VLANs and apply up to 256 static routes for inter-VLAN communication without a separate router. Security and traffic prioritization are managed through a web interface, using built-in Access Control Lists (ACL) and Quality of Service (QoS) protocols. The unit draws 50 W under typical operating conditions and includes redundant power supply (RPS) support.
