The Ubiquiti UniFi Pro Max 48 (USW-PRO-MAX-48) is a Layer 3 managed switch for network segmentation and wired client connectivity. It features 48 RJ45 ports supporting 100, 1000, and 2500 Mbps, accommodating mixed environments of standard Gigabit and 2.5 GbE devices. With a switching capacity of 224 Gbit/s, the unit provides sufficient bandwidth for high-traffic environments. A forwarding rate of 166.656 Mpps ensures stable routing across busy corporate networks.

The 1U chassis features an SGCC housing designed for standard rack mounting. As a dedicated data switch without PoE capabilities, the unit consumes a maximum of 100 W under full load. Redundant power supply (RPS) support helps maintain uptime during hardware or electrical faults. Administrators can configure the system via a web interface, using Access Control Lists (ACLs) and Quality of Service (QoS) to regulate traffic. The unit is also stackable, allowing for scalable port density without the need to manage isolated control planes.
