The ASUS ZenWiFi XD4 Plus is a dual-band mesh Wi-Fi system utilizing the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It provides a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 1800 Mbit/s, with up to 1201 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. This two-node system covers up to 306.58 m² and supports 1024QAM modulation. It integrates MU-MIMO and beamforming technologies to maintain signal stability across multiple devices.

For wired connections, the system includes two Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports with 1000 Mbit/s data rates. Security is handled via WPA3-Personal encryption, a built-in firewall, and URL filtering. Management options include a web-based interface for configuring parental controls, guest access, and VPN servers. The hardware is designed for desktop or wall-mounted placement and contains two internal antennas.
