The system operates using dual-band connectivity, delivering a maximum combined wireless data rate of 3600 Mbit/s, segmented into 688 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 2882 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. Each ZenWiFi BD4 unit is internally equipped with a quad-core 1500 MHz processor, 512 MB of memory, and 128 MB of flash storage, designed to handle high device loads efficiently. Wired connectivity is facilitated by two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports per unit, which automatically detect and function as either WAN or LAN interfaces.
