The CORSAIR 5000T is a mid-tower ATX case built from steel, plastic, and tempered glass for high-performance systems. Its spacious interior accommodates components including motherboards from Mini-ITX up to E-ATX. Tempered glass side panels offer a clear view of the hardware, suiting users who prioritize component visibility. The chassis provides a structured layout for complex system configurations that require substantial space.

Cooling capacity is a primary feature, though the case does not include pre-installed fans. It supports up to three 120mm fans each in the front, top, and side, plus a single 120mm fan in the rear. For liquid cooling, it can house 360mm radiators in the front, top, and side positions. Integrated dust filters are located at key air intakes to help maintain internal cleanliness.

The design provides clearance for CPU coolers up to 170mm tall and ATX power supplies up to 250mm long. It features seven horizontal and three vertical expansion slots for flexible installation. A dedicated cable management system simplifies wire routing, and the front I/O panel provides four USB-A ports, one USB-C port, and a combination audio jack.
