The LG 55MH5K is a large-format display designed for specialized professional applications. Its 55-inch IPS panel features a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, delivering a detailed and expansive image. The screen operates at a 60 Hz refresh rate with a 5 ms response time, suitable for clear motion in video feeds. A high typical brightness of 680 cd/m² and a 1100:1 contrast ratio ensure visibility in varied lighting environments.

The IPS technology provides wide 178-degree viewing angles for consistent image quality. It supports 10-bit color depth, displaying 1.07 billion colours and covering 86% of the DCI-P3 gamut for accurate representation. HDR10 is included to enhance the contrast between the brightest and darkest areas of an image. The flat, anti-glare screen surface minimizes reflections, and multi-source viewing is supported through 4PBP and PIP modes.

Connectivity is tailored for professional workflows, including HDMI 2.2, DisplayPort 1.2, and 12G-SDI for stable 4K signal transmission. A built-in USB 3.0 hub adds a single downstream port for peripherals. This monitor does not include a stand and is designed for installation using its 200x200 mm or 300x300 mm VESA mount compatibility. The pivot function allows the display to be rotated into a portrait orientation.
