The Keychron Q1 Max is a wireless mechanical keyboard with a 75% layout, housed within a full CNC-machined 6063 aluminum body. Its double-gasket mount design, combined with multiple layers of acoustic foam, reduces internal resonance to provide a solid and dampened typing sound. This fully assembled model is equipped with Gateron Jupiter Red linear switches, which deliver a smooth keystroke with a 2mm actuation point. The switches are hot-swappable, allowing for tool-free replacement, and are complemented by durable double-shot PBT keycaps.

Tri-mode connectivity offers flexibility via a low-latency 2.4 GHz connection, Bluetooth 5.1 with multi-device support, or a detachable USB-C cable for wired use. The keyboard supports extensive customization through QMK and VIA firmware, enabling users to remap any key, create macros, and program the rotary encoder knob. It features south-facing RGB backlighting for clear illumination that avoids interference with most keycap profiles. A 1000 Hz polling rate is maintained in both wired and 2.4 GHz modes for responsive input.
