The Keychron V6 Max is a full-size mechanical keyboard designed for extensive customization and multi-device connectivity. It operates via a wired USB-C connection, a 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, or Bluetooth 5.1, providing versatility for different setups. The 1000 Hz polling rate in wired and 2.4 GHz modes facilitates responsive input for gaming. Internally, the keyboard utilizes a gasket mount structure combined with sound-absorbing foam, which modifies the acoustic profile and feel of each keystroke. This model comes equipped with Gateron Jupiter mechanical switches, available in red, brown, or banana variants to suit different tactile preferences.

For user-defined configurations, the V6 Max supports QMK and VIA firmware, allowing for complete key remapping, macro programming, and layer adjustments. The keyboard features south-facing RGB LEDs, which provide illumination without interfering with most keycap profiles. Its keycaps are made from double-shot PBT plastic in an OSA profile, offering resistance to surface wear. The housing is constructed from ABS plastic with a polycarbonate plate. On-board memory is included to save custom profiles directly to the device, making them accessible across different operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
