The Ubiquiti UniFi Pro 24 PoE is a managed Layer 2/Layer 3 switch designed for enterprise networks that require high-speed device connectivity and advanced traffic routing. It features 22 RJ-45 ports supporting 2.5G Ethernet, providing additional bandwidth for endpoints such as wireless access points and high-resolution IP cameras. With a total switching capacity of 230 Gbit/s, the hardware manages heavy local area network traffic without bottlenecks, while the 171 Mpps forwarding rate ensures rapid packet processing. Its integrated Layer 3 static routing capabilities allow for inter-VLAN communication without the need for an external router.

Housed in an SGCC metal, 1U rack-mountable chassis, the switch fits into standard server enclosures. It provides a 600 W total Power over Ethernet budget, delivering up to 15.4 W to each of the 22 copper ports simultaneously. Administrators can manage network security and traffic prioritisation using built-in access control lists (ACL) and Quality of Service (QoS) protocols. Management is handled via a web interface, and the device supports DHCP guarding, snooping, and local server functions. For redundancy, the switch includes support for an optional external power supply (RPS) to ensure reliability during primary power interruptions.
