The watch analyzes performance using advanced metrics such as VO2 Max, recovery time, and training status, offering data-driven insights for structured training. It includes over 30 dedicated sport profiles, with specific modes for running, cycling, and triathlon.

Constructed with a 46mm glass fiber reinforced polymer case and a Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 lens, the device weighs 47 grams and is designed for durability. It carries a 5 ATM water resistance rating, making it suitable for swimming and use in wet conditions. The integrated sensor suite includes a barometric altimeter, an optical heart rate monitor, and a blood oxygen sensor. These components provide continuous data for health monitoring functions like sleep and stress tracking.

Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth for smartphone pairing, ANT+ for external sensors, and Wi-Fi for data synchronization. The device displays smart notifications and call alerts from a connected phone. For standalone functionality, it includes 8 GB of internal music storage and supports contactless payments through Garmin Pay.
