The Braun Silk-expert Pro 5 PL5052 uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to target hair roots and reduce hair growth over time. Following the recommended schedule leads to smoother skin on the legs, arms, and face. The device is suitable for light to medium-dark skin tones but is not effective on very dark complexions. It works on dark brown or black hair, but it cannot target light blonde, red, or grey hair. For safety reasons, this device should not be used by individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

This corded, mains-powered device is for dry use only. An integrated SkinPro 2.0 sensor reads your skin tone and automatically adjusts the light intensity during treatment. You can also manually select from 10 intensity levels and three modes to suit your skin’s sensitivity.
