The mower's cutting system consists of three pivoting blades that provide a cutting width of 190 mm. For navigation, this model uses the LogiCut system, which maps the lawn to cut in systematic, parallel lines. Installation is guided by a physical boundary wire that defines the mowing perimeter. The cutting height can be set to one of three positions, ranging from 30 mm to 50 mm. The mower includes an edge cutting function for clean borders and a mulching function that returns fine grass clippings to the soil. A SpotMow feature allows it to target small, specific sections of the lawn that require attention.

The Indego M 700 is controlled via a smartphone application, which enables users to set automatic mowing schedules and manage up to three distinct lawn zones. The unit features automatic return to its base station for charging when the battery is low.
