The ARCTIC Freezer 8i CO is a single-tower air cooling solution engineered for continuous operation in Intel-based systems supporting LGA1851 and LGA1700 sockets. It features a compact physical profile, measuring 136 mm in height, which aids compatibility across various chassis sizes, including small form factor builds. The thermal structure integrates two 6 mm copper heat pipes directly into the base plate, efficiently drawing heat away from the processor to the aluminum fin array.

Heat dissipation is managed by a 100 mm fan employing Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) support for dynamic speed adjustment. The rotational speed can be regulated between 200 RPM and 2300 RPM based on the thermal demand of the CPU load. A key element of the "CO" designation is the use of a Dual Ball Bearing fan, which contributes to a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) rating of 300,000 hours, ensuring extended operational longevity. Maximum acoustic output from the fan is rated at 22 dB.

This cooler is designed to handle processor thermal loads up to 350 W TDP. The installation process is facilitated by pre-applied MX-6 thermal compound and the inclusion of necessary mounting hardware for supported Intel platforms.
