The NETGEAR GS105EP-100EUS is a 5-port Gigabit Ethernet Easy Smart PoE+ managed switch designed for small office environments. It features five Gigabit RJ-45 ports with a 10 Gbit/s switching capacity for non-blocking throughput. Four of these ports provide Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), delivering both data and power to connected devices over standard Ethernet cabling. Administrators can manage the switch via a web interface to monitor connections and configure network settings. A fanless, passively cooled design ensures silent operation in shared workspaces.

Housed in a grey metal chassis, the switch can be placed on a desktop or mounted to a wall. It includes traffic management features, such as Quality of Service (QoS) protocols to prioritise latency-sensitive data. The device supports port-based VLANs to segment networks, keeping operational departments or guest traffic logically isolated. Diagnostics are supported through port mirroring, which allows administrators to analyse packet flow without interrupting active user sessions.
