The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner designed for automated floor maintenance on carpets and hard floors. It uses PreciSense LiDAR navigation combined with 3D structured light and infrared imaging to map rooms and identify obstacles. The device includes specialized sensors for edge recognition, stair detection, and ultrasonic carpet identification to adjust its cleaning path dynamically.

This model features a DuoRoller Riser Brush system and a suction rating of 10000 kPa to collect debris. The RockDock Ultra base station automates maintenance by emptying the onboard dust bin, refilling the water tank, and washing the mop with hot water. It also performs hot air drying and can dispense detergent to maintain the cleaning components without manual effort.

Connectivity is provided via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, allowing for app-based control and integration with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri. The battery supports a runtime of 180 minutes, which is sufficient for cleaning areas up to 300 square meters. It includes a silent mode for quieter operation at 67 dB and supports Matter for smart home compatibility.
