The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 is a rugged smartwatch designed for outdoor use and long-term reliability. It features a titanium case with a “squircle” design and a sapphire crystal display, giving it resistance to scratches, shocks, and water. The watch is certified at 10 ATM for water resistance, IP68 for dust protection, and MIL-STD-810H for durability in extreme temperatures and high altitudes. These specifications make it suitable for activities such as hiking, swimming, or climbing, where equipment is exposed to challenging environments.

Inside, the watch runs on Samsung’s 3 nm Exynos W1000 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, of which about 50 GB is available for use. This allows space for offline maps, music, and apps. The operating system is Wear OS 6 with Samsung’s One UI 8 Watch interface, providing access to a broad app ecosystem and updated Galaxy AI health tools, including an Energy Score, Running Coach, and Antioxidant Index. A new assistant, Google Gemini, replaces the previous Google Assistant integration, while the Samsung BioActive Sensor continues to track heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, and exercise data.

The 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display reaches up to 3,000 nits of brightness for outdoor readability and is protected by sapphire crystal. Location tracking uses dual-frequency GPS (L1 + L5) with support for multiple global navigation systems, improving accuracy in dense urban areas or mountainous regions. The 590 mAh battery supports up to 48 hours of active use or up to 100 hours in power-saving mode, with 10 W wireless charging. In practical use, the battery typically lasts 2–3 days before needing to recharge.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra includes a Quick Button for fast access to multisport and triathlon modes, and a Dynamic Lug System that makes it easier to change straps. An emergency SOS function can activate an alarm of up to 86 dB, audible up to 180 meters, and send location information to contacts. Connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a speaker, and a microphone for calls and notifications. Color options include Titanium Gray, Silver, White, and Titanium Blue.
