This dual-bay storage device functions as both a standalone duplicator and a high-speed external drive dock. It supports one M.2 NVMe SSD and one 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA drive, including both HDDs and SSDs. In standalone mode, users can perform drive-to-drive duplication without a host computer, which is suitable for system imaging and data backups. The unit handles cross-interface cloning between NVMe and SATA drives in either direction.

When connected to a host computer via the included USB-C cable, the unit operates as a high-speed docking station powered by the JMS581D chipset. It utilizes the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard and UASP support to achieve data transfer rates reaching 10 Gbps. The hardware is OS independent, meaning it functions across different operating systems without the need for manual driver installation. Integrated LED indicators display power status, disk activity, and cloning progress in 25-percent increments. This 292-gram device features hot-swappable bays and includes an external AC adapter to ensure stable power delivery for 3.5-inch mechanical drives.
