The Thermalright Assassin X 120 Refined SE Plus is a single-tower air cooling solution designed for modern desktop processors. Heat transfer from the CPU integrated heat spreader is managed by four copper heat pipes, each measuring 6mm in diameter, that extend into an aluminum fin array. This structure facilitates thermal dissipation across the medium-profile heatsink design. The cooler maintains broad compatibility, supporting current Intel LGA 1700 and 1851 sockets, as well as AMD AM5 platforms.

The included 120mm fan operates on an S-FDB bearing for component longevity and stable rotational movement. The fan is capable of a peak airflow volume of 66.17 CFM and generates a maximum static pressure of 1.53 mmH2O. Maximum rotational speed reaches 1550 RPM, contributing to a controlled noise level maximum of 25.6 dB under heavy thermal load. The cooler features PWM control support, ensuring dynamic speed adjustments aligned with current thermal requirements, and stands at a total height of 148 mm.
