Meaco has designed the Arete to look good wherever you place it. It stands flush with the wall, has hidden wheels and an air purification mode means you can also use it all year round.

Meaco discovered that many people place their dehumidifier near the bedroom. So it became clear that noise is a very important factor. It took 18 months of testing to produce the quietest large dehumidifiers Meaco has ever made. At 40dB, this dehumidifier is twice as quiet as the industry standard.

The Arete One control panel has simple and clear controls. The buttons you use most often are larger; the buttons you hardly ever use are small. Large buttons include controls for Smart Humidity Control and Smart Laundry, both of which can be set at the touch of a button.

On many devices, when you select night mode or sleep mode, they leave a light on to indicate that it is in the mode, or they forget to turn off the beeps so that a button press is accompanied by an annoying sound.

Not at Arete. select night mode and all lights turn off; the fan speed drops to silent low and there are no beeps. You can check humidity levels in night mode quickly and quietly.

Draining the water tank is the most common action that dehumidifier owners need to do. So it was important to ensure that the Arete's large 4.8 liter tank was easy to access and empty.

And there is a simple but clever solution for pouring out the water. With Arete there are two pipes: one on the left and one on the right. So you can pour the water away without having to juggle or twist the tank.

To make things easier, the Arete comes with a hose adapter so you can use a regular garden hose for continuous drainage if you need it.

This reduces plastic waste and gives you the flexibility to use the device in the best way for you.

Every Arete dehumidifier comes with a free H13 HEPA filter so you can see how good it is. If you always want cleaner and fresher air in your home, this filter must be replaced approximately every three months. This filter can be replaced with either another H13 HEPA filter or an activated carbon filter, the choice is yours!
