The Keychron Q3 HE is a tenkeyless (TKL) mechanical keyboard built with an aluminum frame and a double-gasket mounting design. It is equipped with Gateron 2.0 magnetic switches, which feature a 0.2 mm actuation point for rapid input registration during gameplay. The keyboard offers three connection methods: low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.2 for pairing with multiple devices, and a detachable USB-C cable for a wired connection. Both the wired and 2.4 GHz modes support a polling rate of up to 1000 Hz for consistent performance.

This keyboard supports extensive user customization through QMK and VIA open-source firmware, enabling key remapping, macro creation, and profile storage on its 256 KB of onboard memory. The 80% layout maintains a compact desk footprint while preserving the function row. Its keycaps are made from double-shot PBT material for increased durability and texture retention.
