Ubiquiti UniFi Access G3 Reader - Access Reader, White

The UniFi Access Reader G3 (White) is a door reader designed for access control in commercial and residential settings. It operates exclusively via a wired Ethernet connection to ensure secure, direct data transmission without Wi-Fi. A single RJ45 port connects the device to the local network and the wider access control system. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support allows for single-cable installation, providing both data and power. By eliminating the need for a separate power adapter, the reader simplifies wiring at the door, while ensuring reliable communication between the entry point and the central management software.

Designed for recessed mounting, the reader sits flush with the installation surface. The device is IP55-rated for both indoor and outdoor use, protecting it against dust and water jets. Integrated multi-colour LED indicators provide visual feedback during the authentication process, while a built-in speaker gives audible confirmation. As it does not include a display or camera, the hardware is focused solely on scanning and user signalling. The housing is designed for reliable operation in exposed entryways.
