The TP-LINK TL-SG1005P-PD 5-Port Gigabit Desktop PoE+ Switch (1-Port PoE++ In, 4-Port PoE+ Out) is an unmanaged, plug-and-play device that requires no configuration. It adds five RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports to a network. Instead of using a traditional AC adapter, the switch is powered entirely via a single PoE++ input port, which receives both data and electricity. It then distributes this power through four output ports to compatible devices, providing a total power budget of up to 66 W.

Housed in a black metal chassis, the switch measures 158 x 101 x 25 mm. It is suitable for flat placement on a desk or shelf and can be wall-mounted to save space and keep cabling tidy. The fanless, passive cooling design ensures silent operation, making the unit suitable for quiet environments. Front-facing LED indicators display power and link status for quick diagnostics.
