The D-Link DMS-1250-28/E is a 24-port 2.5GbE managed Layer 2 switch featuring four 10GbE SFP+ ports. It provides high-speed connectivity for multi-gigabit devices, such as workstations and wireless access points. Four dedicated 10G SFP+ slots allow for high-speed uplinks to core network infrastructure. The switch has a total switching capacity of 200 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 148.81 Mpps.

The black, rack-mountable chassis fits standard equipment cabinets and uses two internal fans for cooling. Administrators can configure the switch via a web-based interface or the command line. It supports up to 4,096 VLANs for traffic segmentation. Security and traffic prioritization are managed through access control lists (ACLs), ARP inspection, loop protection, and Quality of Service (QoS). The switch supports physical stacking to simplify administration and provide hardware redundancy. Under maximum load, it draws up to 39.73 W via an internal AC power supply.
