The ZTE MC888 5G Indoor CPE router converts cellular signals into local wireless and wired networks. Using the 5G NR standard, this gateway provides a fixed internet connection for locations without traditional broadband infrastructure. It supports data rates of up to 3600 Mbit/s to handle local network traffic. The device uses the Wi-Fi 6 standard to distribute bandwidth across connected clients, while dual-band transmission on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies helps reduce interference in dense environments. Integrated LTE Cat18 support provides a 4G fallback connection if the 5G signal is lost.
Inside the chassis, a Qualcomm X62 processor manages routing and mobile network communication. To access the internet, a Nano-SIM card with an active data plan must be inserted into the device. Designed as an indoor gateway for stationary network access, the unit includes two Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) ports. These ports operate at 1000 Mbit/s, providing low-latency connections for desktop computers or external switches.
