The Huawei S5735-L48T4S-A-V2 is a managed Layer 3 switch with 48 Gigabit RJ-45 ports, intended for enterprise network aggregation and campus deployments. It features a switching capacity of 104 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 78 Mpps. As a non-PoE model, the device is built for data transmission rather than powering connected equipment. Native Layer 3 functionality allows for network segmentation and inter-VLAN routing without the need for a separate core router.

The switch fits in a standard 1U, 19-inch rack. It supports dynamic routing protocols, including OSPF, OSPFv3, RIP-1, RIP-2, and RIPng.
